ride of life
we arrive
we cry
we love
we die
on this
crazy ride
of life
some could point at this and shave it down to being pointless.
what a waste that would be to render life a blunt object unable to cut to the depths.
it’s spit in the face of the divine forces that brought you here,
right to this moment,
reading these words and feeling something.
you paid no toll to take this ride, so what’s there to gripe about?
laugh at the madness of it all.
let yourself feel moved to tears over a sunset.
be a fool about the small things,
fall in love with them,
for everything is equidistant from simplicity and complexity.
