About Dust Speck Dialogue with Dan Garrick

We need art. We need to grab hold the telescope of written word that has been held lock and key by social media and peer into the cosmos with curiosity.

This Substack is my attempt to do just that.

Why should you subscribe?

I’ve spent the past 3 years writing on social media and made the decision to move my work to Substack.

I’m certain I’m not alone when I say I feel like an onion.

Have I lost you? Hold up.

I feel like an onion that has been dropped in a pot of boiling water on social media.

My outer layers have been cooked by algorithmic pressure, but there’s a raw core set of layers left uncooked wanting to be tasted.

I don’t care so much about being able to serve many and am happy to shed the cooked layers to get to the smaller core that remains, even if it means serving fewer.

Those few are there to cherish the reality of what it means to present myself as what I truly am - a raw onion with something to say.

My prose is aimed at prying open the floodgates of your subconscious to intermingle with the conscious and the inconceivable.
